Welcome to Focus Troll. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Focus Troll browser extension (the "Extension"), developed to help users stay focused by automatically logging them out of distracting websites.

By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Extension.

1. Use of the App

The Extension is intended for personal, non-commercial use to support productivity through automated logout functionality. You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. No Medical Advice

Focus Troll is a productivity tool designed to add friction to distracting websites. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological conditions. The Extension simply logs you out of specified websites when you close tabs.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and materials in the Extension — including text, graphics, and code — are owned by or licensed to the extension developer and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Extension without prior written permission.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the Extension. The creators of Focus Troll are not liable for any consequences of your use or misuse of the Extension, including any impact on your browsing experience or productivity.

5. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extension will always function perfectly or be compatible with all websites.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of Focus Troll shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the Extension. This includes, without limitation, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update or modify the Extension or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the Extension at any time for any reason, without notice, particularly if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
